The Invisibility Cloak

As the story goes, the wisest of the Peverell brothers asked Death for a most intriguing magical object... Death's own Cloak of Invisibility. Harry did not know that the very cloak bestowed upon him his first year at Hogwarts was indeed one of the legendary Deathly Hallows. The cloak is said to render the wearer completely invisible indefinitely. All other cloaks lose their "touch" after a while. This Deathly Hallow has been passed down from father to son for generations. Knowing this, it can be determined that Harry is a direct descendant of the third Peverell brother.
This isn't the first time that Harry Potter fans have believed (even momentarily) that this heroic teenager may have some "legendary" wizarding blood. In his second year at Hogwarts, Harry soon discovered that his uncommon ability to speak with snakes may mean he is a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin. But of course, we all now know that to be false.
If I had to choose one of the three legendary Deathly Hallows, i would most definitely choose the Invisibility Cloak. As we all know, it alone can perpetually conceal one's fate.
